Passion & Dreams: The Story Behind I Am Brave

I Am Brave started with a dream. A dream to shine a glimmer of hope in the lives of individuals from all walks of life. The passion to serve sparked when a group of aspiring entrepreneurs came across families and individuals with almost no hope in succeeding in life. Most of them who have no dreams to chase while some are clueless on how to start reaching theirs. There were also others who were challenged with sickness and financial debt.

As an authorized distributor and partner of Santé International, a wellness company that helps people live better lives through premium, organic products and business opportunities, I Am Brave was able to make an impact in their lives with perseverance, dedication, and commitment to improve the quality of life of Filipinos.

Team Braveheart

In 2014, that torch was first carried by Team Braveheart, a group of individuals with the passion to help Filipinos take courage to live life to the fullest. Led by Tina Carag who then had no experience in business, had a bigger dream in mind. She wanted to touch lives on a global scale. So, she established an international branch that distributes Santé Barley products.

Although it may sound great, every team member had a dream or vision, but each did not have the sufficient experience, expertise, and guidance to become successful. However, everyone became strong for each other and pressed toward the goal—to bring Santé to the international market. They strived to learn every bit of detail of the products and “machinery” of the business.

But after some time, Team Braveheart was faced with challenges day after day until it came to a point that they found themselves on the edge of a “cliff.”

The Breaking Point

As series of hardships face each one, everyone slowly parted ways. Some of them focused on their personal aspirations while others were just too burned out. There are those who realized that the business wasn’t for them and some who were presented with “better opportunities.” It was a breaking point for Team Braveheart.

But even though the team was breaking apart, Tina Carag, strived to continue her business endeavor at Santé International. What’s still left in her was the burning passion to help people reach their dreams and inspire people to seize the day. She had to gain more expertise, knowledge, and experience to maximize the potential of the business.

Up to this day, she’s slowly working her way up to her dreams. After a long time, she decided to meet with her long-time business partner and teammate, Kay Alcala.

The Rise of “I Am Brave”

Kay was considered as one of the strongest “legs” of Team Braveheart. But after the “fallout” of the group, she decided to focus on gaining more knowledge, skills, and expertise in the IT world. During her journey, she was able to build pick up some new experiences, techniques, and skills that would undoubtedly cause any enterprise to get ahead of the curve in the market today.

With the brains of an IT expert and the savviness of a brilliant leader, the reunion of these two women have created a nostalgic collaboration of ideas and a shared vision has once again been revived. To help people turn their lives around by attaining freedom from physical and financial challenges in life.

In turn, both have decided to put up I Am Brave as a company that cares for everyone’s well-being and aims to help people take courage to live life to the fullest through the distribution of world-class products and services in the global market.
